L’estate musicale riminese

Oggi ci concentriamo sulla parte musicale di questi. Il 7 giugno, pochi giorni dopo l’esibizione del rocker di Zocca, sempre al Romeo Neri sarà la volta di Achille Lauro con l’anteprima di “Comuni Immortali”, il nuovo progetto live che da Rimini porterà l’artista romano sui palchi dei principali stadi italiani.

Sabato 20, all’interno della ormai tradizionale Notte Rosa riminese (il cui via ufficiale è il 19 giugno), grande festival con i big della musica. La domenica darà il via alla Liscio Street parade, l’evento dedicato alla musica e al ballo della tradizione romagnola, che trasformerà Piazzale Kennedy di Rimini per tre giorni (21-23 giugno) in una grande pista da ballo a cielo aperto, accogliendo orchestre, scuole di ballo e dj per tre giorni di spettacolo e passione.

Il 31 luglio in piazzale Fellini si esibiranno i ‘Me contro Te’, vere e proprie star dello spettacolo per bambini e famiglie. Luì e Sofì saranno i protagonisti dell’apertura di un evento eccezionale, #RiminiWow (31 luglio – 2 agosto), l’evento che ogni estate trasforma Piazzale Fellini nel villaggio del divertimento di youtuber, tiktoker, content creator e influencer.

E a Riccione, che si fa?

Riccione, all’interno della sua iniziativa “Riccione Music City” spara un cartellone di nomi davvero d’eccezione che riempiranno piazzale Roma. Dalla maxi apertura dell’1 giugno con vari artisti italiani, a una serie di concerti (alcuni gratuiti, altri a pagamento), davvero eccezionale. SI esibiranno nell’ordine:

Geolier (11 luglio 2026). Il rapper napoletano, fenomeno indiscusso delle classifiche, porta a Riccione il suo mix esplosivo di drill, urban e melodia partenopea. Dopo il trionfo morale a Sanremo 2024 e il successo mondiale dell’album Dio lo sa, Geolier è diventato la voce di una generazione.

Emma (15 luglio 2026). Grinta, cuore e una voce graffiante che non lascia indifferenti: Emma torna sul palco con la forza che la contraddistingue da oltre un decennio. Il pubblico di Piazzale Roma potrà cantare a squarciagola hit storiche come La mia città e Non è l’inferno, fino ai successi più recenti come Apnea e Mezzo mondo, pilastri della sua nuova era musicale.

Ernia (18 luglio 2026). Considerato uno dei “penna d’oro” del rap italiano, Ernia è un artista capace di unire l’introspezione lirica a ritmi estremamente coinvolgenti. Con una carriera costruita su testi mai banali e una cifra stilistica unica, ha saputo conquistare sia la critica che il grande pubblico.

Pooh (21 luglio 2026). E qui stiamo parlando di storia della musica italiana con i Pooh, la band che ha fatto sognare intere generazioni con le sue armonie vocali e i suoi grandi classici. Roby Facchinetti, Dodi Battaglia, Red Canzian e Riccardo Fogli porteranno in scena un viaggio emozionante lungo oltre cinquant’anni di carriera. Gli Eiffel 65 trasformeranno la piazza in una discoteca a cielo aperto con un live set ad alto tasso di energia. Sarà un tuffo nostalgico ma attualissimo negli anni ’90 e 2000, guidato dalla leggendaria Blue (Da Ba Dee).

Riccardo Cocciante (29 agosto 2026). Un gigante della musica internazionale arriva a Riccione per un concerto che si annuncia come un evento memorabile. Riccardo Cocciante, autore di opere monumentali e interprete dalla potenza vocale straordinaria, regalerà al pubblico un’esperienza di rara intensità. Le sue canzoni sono pietre miliari: da Margherita a Bella senz’anima, fino a Se stiamo insieme, ogni brano sarà un racconto fatto di passione, dolore e speranza, capace di toccare le corde più profonde dell’anima.

Gianni Morandi (10 settembre 2026). A chiudere in bellezza la stagione di “Riccione Music City” è l’eterno ragazzo della musica italiana. The Musical Summer in Rimini

Today, we are focusing on the music scene. You can read about Vasco Rossi’s concert at Rimini’s Romeo Neri Stadium in two previous posts on this blog, but “Il Blasco” isn’t the only famous singer performing on the Riviera this summer. On June 7th, just a few days after the Zocca-born rocker’s performance, the Romeo Neri Stadium will host Achille Lauro for the preview of “Comuni Immortali,” his new live project starting in Rimini before hitting Italy’s major stadiums.

On Saturday the 20th, as part of the now-traditional Notte Rosa (Pink Night), which officially kicks off on June 19th, there will be a major festival featuring the biggest names in music. Sunday will launch the Liscio Street Parade, an event dedicated to traditional Romagnolo music and dance. For three days (June 21–23), Rimini’s Piazzale Kennedy will transform into a massive open-air dance floor, hosting orchestras, dance schools, and DJs for a celebration of passion and tradition.

On July 31st, Piazzale Fellini will host “Me contro Te,” true stars for children and families. Luì and Sofì will headline the opening of an exceptional event, #RiminiWow (July 31 – August 2), which every summer turns the square into a fun-filled village for YouTubers, TikTokers, content creators, and influencers.

What’s happening in Riccione?

As part of its “Riccione Music City” initiative, Riccione is launching a stellar lineup of names that will fill Piazzale Roma. From the grand opening on June 1st with various Italian artists to a series of exceptional concerts (some free, some ticketed), here is the official schedule:

• Geolier (July 11, 2026): The Neapolitan rapper and undisputed chart-topper brings his explosive mix of drill, urban, and Neapolitan melody to Riccione. Following his moral victory at Sanremo 2024 and the global success of the album Dio lo sa, Geolier has become the voice of a generation.

Dove si tiene, quando e come arrivare

L’inizio del concerto è previsto per le 20.45 ma l’apertura dei cancelli sarà nel tardo pomeriggio. Lo Stadio Romeo Neri è facilmente raggiungibile dall’hotel Bing. Si può prendere il Metro Mare in direzione di Rimini e scendere alla fermata Pascoli e poi dirigersi verso lo Stadio a piedi per circa 700 metri di camminata. Si può andare in bus: nelle giornate dei grandi eventi i servizi di autobus urbano e collegamenti cittadini sono potenziati. Blasco made his debut in the late 1970s with singles and albums in a singer-songwriter style, but soon his music evolved into a form of Italian rock that is unconventional and direct, earning him the reputation of a “provocative songwriter.” Over the decades, Vasco has released dozens of albums (34 according to recent data, including 18 studio albums, 11 live albums, 5 compilations) as well as two EPs. In 2004, the album Buoni o Cattivi became the best-selling album in Italy that year. On July 1, 2017, he organized the Modena Park 2017 concert-event, which drew over 225,000 spectators, setting a world record for a paid concert by a single artist on a single date.

Sales, international success, and musical legacy

In terms of sales, Vasco Rossi is among the most successful Italian artists. Estimates report over 35 million records sold worldwide. Qualitatively, Vasco stands out because he has placed albums at the top of the Italian charts across five different decades: the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s. He also holds the record for the most albums topping the Italian weekly charts (24) according to the Italian Music Industry Federation (FIMI).

Partiamo dal pop in piazzale Roma

A dare l’avvio al ricco programma live sarà il 5 agosto Nek con Nek Hits, il viaggio in musica che ripercorre i più grandi successi dell’artista: il pubblico potrà rivivere le emozioni di una carriera di oltre trent’anni. Il 7 agosto piazzale Roma ospiterà una tappa del live Angelo-venti, il tour con cui Francesco Renga celebra insieme al pubblico i 20 anni della sua Angelo, l’iconico brano con cui nel 2005 vinse il Festival di Sanremo. Il concerto sarà una grande festa e un viaggio musicale attraverso i suoi brani più celebri.

L’11 agosto arriveranno i Gemelli Diversi in un live ad alto tasso di coinvolgimento e ritmo. La storica band italiana porterà sul palco i suoi pezzi più amati e nuove sonorità, per una serata all’insegna dell’energia e delle emozioni.  Giuliano Palma sarà protagonista di un imperdibile concerto il 14 agosto, pronto a far scatenare il pubblico con il suo inconfondibile sound. Una grande festa di Ferragosto all’insegna del ritmo, tra sonorità ska, rocksteady e i successi che hanno segnato la sua carriera da cantare insieme.

Altro grande artista in arrivo a Riccione per l’estate 2025 sarà Alex Britti, uno dei musicisti e cantautori più amati della scena musicale italiana e internazionale. Il concerto di Britti, in programma il 20 agosto, sarà un’occasione speciale per celebrare il suo iconico album It.Pop che ha consacrato la sua ultraventennale carriera; uno spettacolo all’insegna della musica e delle emozioni scandite dal ritmo della sua inseparabile chitarra.

Ma la musica a Riccione continuerà a far battere il cuore! Piazzale Roma non si ferma e l’estate in musica promette ancora emozioni travolgenti. All’orizzonte c’è l’ultimo grande concerto gratuito, in programma il 21 agosto, con un artista speciale che sarà svelato l’1 agosto.

Parco degli Olivetani – Versus Festival: l’anima urban di Riccione

Il Versus Festival, ospitato al Parco degli Olivetani, propone una line-up urban con i protagonisti della scena contemporanea che porteranno il meglio del rap, dell’urban e del pop crossover, in una cornice green trasformata in arena. Una proposta che svela l’anima urban di Riccione in cinque straordinari eventi live.

Il programma parte l’1 agosto con il concerto di Irama, che porta sul palco il suo Live 2025. Cantautore tra i più amati della scena pop italiana, ha conquistato il pubblico con brani intensi e melodici. Il 2 agosto sarà la volta di Anna e Guè, che a Riccione arrivano rispettivamente con Anna Vera Baddie Summer Tour 2025 e La Vibe Summer Tour 2025. Anna, giovane rapper rivelazione, è nota per i suoi beat travolgenti e uno stile deciso. Guè, icona del rap italiano, unisce eleganza e street credibility nei suoi testi.

L’8 agosto sul palco del Versus Festival saliranno Luchè, Silent Bob e Sick Budd. Luchè, ex Co’Sang, è conosciuto per le sue sonorità dark e i suoi testi introspettivi. Silent Bob, rapper dalla penna cruda e autentica, è una delle voci emergenti più interessanti. Sick Budd è un nome in crescita nella scena urban, apprezzato per il suo stile originale. Il 9 agosto il pubblico sarà trasportato in un party collettivo e liberatorio Teenage Dream che accenderà i ricordi e farà cantare intere generazioni sulle hit indimenticabili degli anni 2000 e Disney Channel. A chiudere la rassegna urban di Riccione, il 13 agosto, ci sarà Lazza con il suo Locura Summer Tour. Pianista e rapper, ha rivoluzionato la scena urban con un mix potente di tecnica e melodia.

Piazzale Ceccarini – Riccione Summer Jazz: l’international sound nel cuore di Riccione

Dal 26 luglio al 3 agosto, piazzale Ceccarini ospita otto concerti gratuiti dedicati al jazz, con ospiti italiani e internazionali. La rassegna debutta il 26 luglio con il concerto straordinario di Billy Cobham Quintet. Riconosciuto come il più importante batterista jazz-fusion per la sua potenza e tecnica percussiva, Cobham ha raggiunto l’apice della fama a metà degli anni Settanta divenendo uno dei batteristi più acclamati nell’ambito jazz, fusion e rock. Il 27 luglio la rassegna ospita i Patagarri, rivelazione di X Factor 2024, che portano a Riccione il loro spettacolo tra swing, gipsy e teatralità del loro live L’ultima ruota del caravan tour. L’appuntamento sarà l’unica data della rassegna che si terrà sul palco del Parco degli Olivetani (ingresso a pagamento).

Il 28 luglio la Myo Orchestra porta sul palco i giovani talenti e i musicisti della Mondaino Youth Orchestra insieme a Stefano Bedetti e Nico Gori. Con due formazioni – under e over 18 – la Myo è una vera fucina di talenti e un simbolo di eccellenza del territorio. Francesca Tandoi, una delle pianiste jazz più apprezzate del panorama internazionale, salirà in trio sul palco di piazzale Ceccarini il 29 luglio. Con il suo talento e il suo approccio originale al pianoforte, Francesca Tandoi ha conquistato il pubblico di tutto il mondo.

Il giorno dopo, 30 luglio, protagonisti della serata saranno Paolo Fresu & Omar Sosa, interpreti di un concerto straordinario che celebra il sodalizio fra il trombettista sardo e il pianista cubano. La fitta rassegna continua il 31 luglio con due protagonisti della scena musicale e culturale italiana:  Andrea Mingardi in dialogo con Marino Bartoletti.

Il grande musicista e compositore francese Michel Godard salirà sul palco l’1 agosto insieme a Tino Tracanna e Francesco D’Auria. Godard, interprete di musica classica e jazz, è uno dei pochissimi solisti di tuba e probabilmente l’unico solista di serpentone, strumento antenato della tuba che non aveva mai goduto di un repertorio solistico. Il 2 agosto Riccione ospiterà lo straordinario trombettista di fama internazionale Hermon Mehari mentre il 3 agosto, chiuderà la rassegna uno dei più acclamati sassofonisti italiani, Stefano Di Battista, nome di punta del jazz europeo e mondiale.

Spiagge di Riccione – Albe in controluce: arte e musica tra cielo e mare

Riccione Music City si arricchirà inoltre con le Albe in controluce, i meravigliosi concerti in spiaggia al sorgere del sole amatissimi da riccionesi e turisti. Un rito collettivo che unisce arte e natura nel silenzio dorato dell’aurora in riva al mare. Il 6 luglio arriva il cantautore e chitarrista catanese Mario Venuti che porta a Riccione il suo live Tra la carne e il cielo: un concerto intimo chitarra e voce, impreziosito dalle leggere e colorate percussioni di Gabriel Prado. L’appuntamento in riva al mare è alle 5:15 alla spiaggia 75 Golden Beach.

Il 27 luglio, sulla spiaggia libera del Marano zona 133, l’alba sarà salutata alle 5:30 dalla voce straordinaria e dalla musica di La Niña, alias Carola Moccia, cantautrice e produttrice napoletana, pioniera nel mettere in dialogo tradizione e musica del presente, proiettandole nel futuro. A Riccione porterà il suo nuovo live Furèsta Tour accompagnata da Alfredo Maddaluno alla chitarra, mandolino e percussioni.  La Spiaggia del sole 86-87 ospiterà, il 3 agosto alle 5:45, la musica straordinaria di uno dei più amati e apprezzati pianisti al mondo: Cesare Picco. Il musicista italiano portà a Riccione The Köln Concert di Keith Jarrett, un omaggio contemporaneo al leggendario concerto di Keith Jarrett del 1975. I concerti del 27 luglio e del 3 agosto sono realizzati in collaborazione con Riccione Summer Jazz.

Il 10 agosto, alla spiaggia Bahia Antigua 20, un altro nome straordinario del panorama musicale nazionale e internazionale sarà protagonista di un’alba imperdibile: Giorgio Poi In duo con Benjamin Ventura (pianoforte e tastiere). Il musicista torna sulle scene in questi giorni dopo due anni dal suo tour Gommapiuma e dopo i successi e i riconoscimenti internazionali raccolti in questi anni. La rassegna si chiude, il 17 agosto alle 6 alla spiaggia libera di piazzale San Martino, con una delle voci più amate e apprezzate della musica italiana: Antonella Ruggiero. Il live che porterà a Riccione sarà Una voce, una fisarmonica, il lavoro artistico con cui la cantante intende recuperare e valorizzare la chiave jazzistica del suo straordinario repertorio, dagli anni ’70 a oggi. La rivisitazione musicale proposta, con l’accompagnamento di Renzo Ruggieri alla fisarmonica, accompagnerà il pubblico in un’alba coinvolgente e ricca di fascino.

Starting with Pop in Piazzale Roma

The packed live program kicks off on August 5 with Nek Hits, a musical journey through the greatest hits of Nek’s 30-year career. On August 7, Piazzale Roma will host a stop on Angelo-Venti, the tour in which Francesco Renga celebrates 20 years of Angelo, the iconic song that won him the Sanremo Festival in 2005. This concert will be both a celebration and a journey through his most famous tracks.

On August 11, Gemelli Diversi will take the stage with a high-energy performance featuring beloved classics and new sounds. Giuliano Palma will headline on August 14 with an unmissable concert full of rhythm, ska, rocksteady, and the greatest hits of his career—a perfect way to celebrate Ferragosto with music and dance.

Another major artist arriving in Riccione for summer 2025 is Alex Britti, one of the most beloved singer-songwriters in the Italian and international music scene. His concert on August 20 will be a special tribute to his iconic album It.Pop, which marked a major milestone in his 20+ year career—a show filled with emotion and the rhythm of his unforgettable guitar.

Parco degli Olivetani – Versus Festival: Riccione’s Urban Soul

The Versus Festival, held at Parco degli Olivetani, offers an urban music lineup with top contemporary artists bringing the best of rap, urban, and pop crossover in a green park turned arena. The event unveils Riccione’s urban spirit with five extraordinary live shows.

The program begins on August 1 with Irama and his Live 2025 concert. One of the most beloved artists in the Italian pop scene, Irama is known for his intense and melodic songs. On August 2, Anna and Guè will take the stage with their Vera Baddie Summer Tour 2025 and La Vibe Summer Tour 2025, respectively. Anna, a young breakout rapper, is known for her infectious beats and bold style, while Guè, a rap icon, blends elegance and street credibility in his lyrics.

Piazzale Ceccarini – Riccione Summer Jazz: International Sound in the Heart of Riccione

From July 26 to August 3, Piazzale Ceccarini will host eight free jazz concerts featuring both Italian and international artists. The festival opens on July 26 with a special performance by the Billy Cobham Quintet. Considered the most influential jazz-fusion drummer for his power and technique, Cobham rose to fame in the mid-1970s and remains one of the most celebrated drummers in jazz, fusion, and rock.

On July 27, Patagarri, breakout stars of X Factor 2024, will perform their theatrical swing and gypsy-inspired L’ultima ruota del caravan tour. This will be the only concert of the series held at Parco degli Olivetani (with paid entry).

On July 6, singer-songwriter and guitarist Mario Venuti from Catania will present his intimate acoustic concert Tra la carne e il cielo, accompanied by the gentle percussion of Gabriel Prado. The concert begins at 5:15 AM at Beach 75 Golden Beach.

On July 27, at 5:30 AM on the free Marano beach (area 133), the extraordinary voice and music of La Niña (Carola Moccia), a Neapolitan singer and producer known for fusing tradition with the present, will welcome the dawn. She will be joined by Alfredo Maddaluno on guitar, mandolin, and percussion, performing her new Furèsta Tour.

On August 3, at 5:45 AM at Spiaggia del Sole 86-87, one of the world’s most beloved pianists, Cesare Picco, will perform The Köln Concert by Keith Jarrett, a contemporary homage to the legendary 1975 concert. This and the July 27 concert are in collaboration with Riccione Summer Jazz.

Her show, Una voce, una fisarmonica (“A Voice, An Accordion”), is a jazz-tinged reimagining of her extraordinary repertoire from the 1970s to today. Accompanied by Renzo Ruggieri on accordion, this dawn concert promises to be captivating and unforgettable.
